First, tomorrow is the day in Mercury retrograde where the Sun and Mercury align, making today a little bit magic. Today and today alone is a great day to file papers, define terms, articulate plans, recite affirmations for the new year. Actually better tomorrow than on New Year’s Eve. So here’s to launching next year with great affirmations.
About this 2017 thing... looking at the political climate, the continuing pogrom in Syria, what Russia did to our election, what the election means to our climate, the skyrocketing stock market, international relations. It’s all a bit strange looking forward. But, in spite of how everything appears, the celestial clock above provides transits from bodies in our solar system to bodies outside our solar system that promise profound intervals of insight.
Saturn is part of this plan. Three times next year the grand ringed directly aligns with the core of our galaxy. The Galactic Center at 27 Sagittarius 05 sees Saturn come to cosmic class on
March 8, May 5 by retrograde motion, and the finale of this triptych of transits culminates on November 24.
The Galactic Center seeks to arouse subconscious programming that stands in the way of progress. Prior to moving forward in life with inspired evolutionary activity, they psyche must untangle any wayward energetics that resist change, fear progress, or irrationally cling to what is known. With the subconscious stirred, a seeker can look forward to even the most daunting of tasks as long as those efforts promise evolution, enlightenment and progress.
It’s important to recognize that the Galactic Center is the common point for our galaxy. It imposes its enlightenment upon us; we do not superimpose our desires on it. Things must lean to the bigger picture and holding the idea of the greater good. Coming off the transits of 2016 when Saturn aligned with the Great Attractor who specializes in the inclusion of all, and the Uranus-Eris conjunction series, the results manifested some of Saturn’s less than optimal work, by favoring the elite and exclusive/entitled (in their own mind) and shunning many of the world’s disadvantaged.
Of course, since Saturn directly deals with actions taken and “awards” the results of those actions, there is likely to be a “payday,” in this case a most ambiguous term for those who defied the interests of the greater good.
Progressive ideas remain tough to integrate in the present tense reality. My favorite example, which bears repeating again... when the Wright Brothers first flew, the Sun and Uranus bracketed the Galactic Center. Flight was met with declarations that if God intended people to fly, we’d have wings, instead of asking how to combine frequent flier miles with Conestoga wagon miles endured.
As we approach the third Saturn/GC transit, Jupiter whips up some of his own transit mojo. He meets up with Shapely 8, a massive object - one of the most massive objects known - in the midst of the Shapely Supercluster. Jupiter passes the degree of Shapely 8 (2 Scorpio 20) on October 21st, virtually conjunct the Sun. To wit, the two largest bodies in the solar system match agendas with the one of the largest, most compelling galactic devices known.
Shapley 8 might actually be the steering mechanism behind the Great Attractor, the Galactic Center and ultimately the course of our solar system. This body is so massive its gravity bends light around it, such that we can virtually see behind it. Now, if there have been any transparency issues on the political front, domestic or international, this is the time that things should be seen in true light. Should an individual hold undisclosed agendas, expect that this is the time the big reveal is requested by all involved parties.
Here, each and every person on the planet takes a look at reality for what it is, not as we might want it to be. This is hugely critical as the final Saturn/GC “pay the piper” for actions taken consciousness renderings conducted come to pass.
Is there reason to think we can make progress next year and a year from now feel good about the results of the year? Yes.
Know your truth.

Exercise and utilize the best of your consciousness to impact the reach of our solar system.
Be clear, gentle and firm, knowing that with each and every act you seek to make our planet, our solar system and our galaxy a far, far better place.
